AbstractVR technologyisaninformation technologythatintegrates virtual simulation，real-time interaction，and immersiveexperience.Inthecontextofdigitaleducationtransformation，ideologicalandpoliticaltheorycoursesin universitiesbeartheimportantmissionofdeepeningMarxisttheoryeducation，enhancingstudents'politicalidentityand cultivatingstudents'senseofsocialresponsibilitywhichputsforwardigherrequirementsforinnovativeteachingmethods. BasedontheinnovativeapplicationofVRtechnology，thisarticleexplores thepracticalreformofideologicalandpolitical theorycourseteachinginuniversitiesfromthefollowingaspects，includingbuildingaVRideologicalandpoliticalresource libraryandenrichingthecarrierofteachingcontent;DesignVRinteractiveclasroomstoenhance students'participation experience;DevelopVRpracticalteaching modules tostrengthen theconnectionbetweentheoryandpractice，inorderto promote thereformofideologicalandpolitical theory teaching towards intellgence，personalization，and immersion.
