Abstract:To studythe application effectof magnetic coagulationand sedimentation technology in theupgrading and renovation of sewage treatment plants,taking a sewage treatment plant in Shandong province as an example,a systematic analysis was conductedfromthe aspects ofcurrent operating conditions,upgrading andrenovationideas and process design, processflow and parameter design of magnetic coagulation sedimentation units,and their operating effects.Research has shown that by introducing a magnetic coagulation sedimentationunit,the eficiencyof removing Total Phosphorus TP)and Suspended Solids (SS)fromthe sewage treatmentplant is significantly improved.The effuent qualityfullymeets the Class A discharge standard,especiallythe stability of key indicators such as Total Nitrogen (TN),TP,and NH 3 -Nissignificantly enhanced.
