Abstract：With the continuous advancement of urbanization，urban environmental problems are becoming increasingly prominent，and water polution is particularlyserious.Under theadvocacyof ecological and environmental protection concepts，sewage treatment in urban environmental engineering has received much atention.This paper starts from the perspectiveof ecological environmental protection，elaborates onthe important significance of urban environmental engineering sewage treatment，analyzes the problems existing incurrentsewage treatment work，and proposes corresponding countermeasures，suchasstrengthening preliminarypreparations，improvingregulationsandsystems，enhancing goverance technology，and improving personnel qualitytopromoteurbansewage treatment work toanew levelandachievesustainable urban development.
