Abstract: Aiming atthe shortcomings of existingcopper slag depletion technology,plasma copper slagdepletiontechnology is proposed to studythe copper smelting slag of a certain enterprise's Ausmelt furnace,through orthogonal experiments, theinfluenceandsignificanceofdifferentfactorsondepletionefectareinvestigated,andtheeconomic benefitsof plasma depletion technology are verified.The orthogonal experiment of plasma depletion with copper slag and carbon reducing agent shows thatthe primaryand secondary factors afecting the reaction are ranked as follows: carbon reducing agent addition amount > gas flow rate > reaction time.Adding a small amount of reducing agent,relying on the chemical activity of low-temperature plasma gas,can enhance the reduction processand reduce thecoppercontent in the slag to around 0.30% . The plasma depletion technology has a short reaction time (about 10min )and has a significant cost advantage after optimizing the electrode treatment.
