Abstract：The southwestern GuizhouProvincehas thedual task ofecological protectionandrestorationaswell as economic development，and itis necessary to studythe ecological geological problemsand governance methods of mines in this area.Basedondata analysisand field research，thebasic overviewand main ecological problems of mines in southwestern Guizhou Province were systematicallysortedout，and methods foraddressng ecological geological problems in historical legacy mines were proposed.Research suggests thatthe ecological problems in the southwestern Guizhou Province are mainly reflected inthe prominent geological and environmental safety hazards caused by historical legacy mines，the destructionof terrainandlandforms，thedeteriorationofsoilerosion，thereductionofecosystemquality，andthedestruction of water resources.
