Abstract: Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) precoagulation-ozone oxidation method is adopted to treat spray painting wastewater,and the process parameters such as PAC dosage,pH value,ozone acceleration rate,oxidation time and MnO2 (20 dosage are optimized. Under optimal conditions,PAC precoagulation achieved a removal rate of 45.34% for Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), 59.67% for ozone oxidation stage,and a total COD removal rate of 77.98% for the combined process,and the effluent COD concentration was reduced to 395.4mg/L , meeting the requirements of biochemical treatment. Research has shown that PAC precoagulation can efectively reduce suspended solids concentration and improve ozone oxidation efficiency,with a significant synergistic effect between the two.
