Abstract:Orthogonal experimental methodis used to recoverindium from zinc hydrometallurgical indium-enriched slag, andthe efects of diffrent process parameters (sulfuricacidconcentration,liquid-solidratioleaching temperature,and leaching time)on indium leaching eficiencyare investigated.Theresultsof theorthogonal experimentindicate thatthe influenceofvarious processparameters ontheeficiencyof indium leaching is intheorderofsulfuricacid concentration, liquid-solidratio,leaching time,and leaching temperature.Undertheoptimal leaching conditions,withasulfuricacid concentration of 2 mol/L,a liquid-solid ratio of 3,a leaching temperature of 80 A ,and a leaching time of 2 h, the indium leaching rate is 94.6% .Research has found that trivalent iron in leachate can aect the extraction of indium,therefore ironpowderisusedasareducing agent toreduce trivalentiron to divalent iron.Then,thesolvent extraction method is used to efficientlyand selectively separate andrecover indium.The extraction results show that using P2O04 reagent as the extractant, under the conditions of extraction ratio of 1:1 and extraction time of 15 min,the single-stage extraction rate of indium can exceed 90% :
