Abstract： Inrecent years，withthe intensificationof globalenvironmental problems，traditional environmental monitoring methods have been unable to met the increasingly complex environmental protection needs.Intellgent environmental monitoringtechnology，asanimportant tool formodern environmental management，utilizes emerging technologies such as the Internetof Things，5G communication，and bigdata toachievereal-time monitoring，accurate analysis，and dynamic warning of environmental elements.This paperanalyzes the significanceof intellgent environmental monitoring technology in environmental protection in China，and explores itsapplication value in pollution sourceidentification，pollution trend prediction，and environmental governance optimization.The research resultscan provide scientific guidance forrelevant departments and promote the development of environmental management towards intelligence and refinement. 1智能环境监测技术的意义
