Abstract： Sincethe3thFive-YearPlanperiod，local govermmentshavecontinued topromotethe anagementofhstorical waste residue，however，duetoalarge numberof historicaldebts，thereisstillalargeamountofhistorical wasteresiduethat has not been safely disposed of.These waste residues often contain heavy metals，are disorderly stacked，lack necessary protective measures，and are easily washed away by rainwater into downstream soil and surface water，causing heavy metal polution todownstream water bodiesand soil.This paper comparesandanalyzes the main disposal technologies for historical waste residues containing heavy metals，and elaborates in detail with specific engineering examples，providing reference for the implementation of similar projects.
