Abstract: Inresponsetotheloweficiencyofrecycled waterutilization inthe northwestregion,asystemdynamicsbased evaluation modelfor thesupplyanddemandsystemofrecycled water was constructedtomoreaccuratelyreflecthedynamic changes inthe supplyanddemand relationshipof recycled water.A multi-stage optimization method for urban recycled waterutilizationmodel was proposed toimprove theutilization eficiencyof recycled water and reduce thecostofrecycled waterutlization.Theresultsshowedthattheaveragerelativeerors betweenthesmulatedandactual valuesofsewage discharge and recycled water supply were 3.84% and 8.27% ,respectively. After optimizing the reclaimed water prices for different users, the reclaimed water pricesfordomestic water,municipal water,and industrial waterareO.80,O.42yuan/m,and1.45yuan/m respectively.Theresultsindicatethatthe proposed methdcan efectivelyimprovetheutilization eficiencyofrecycledwater, contribute tothesustainabledevelopment ofurban waterresources,waterenvironment,and water ecology,andprovidedecision support for relevant departments in water resource management, environmental protection,and urban planning.
