Abstract:This paper analyzes the currentapplicationstatus ofsmart water-saving technology in Shanghai city,and shows the significant efects of smart water-saving technology in improving wateruse eficiency,reducing water resource waste, and loweringcarbon emissons.Atthesame time,a theoretical framework forthecollborative mechanism ofsmart watersaving and water-saving carbonreduction is proposed,thechallenges intheoperationof the mechanismarepointedout, andcorrespondingoptimizationstrategiesareproposed,aiming toprovidesupportand practical guidancefor water-saving andcarbon reduction work in Shanghai cityand even the whole country,and promote the sustainabledevelopment of watersaving and carbon reduction.
