Abstract： In view of thediferent ecological environment problems and their causes in Beijiang River Basin，Dongjiang River Basinand the proposedthe Nanling Mountain National Park area，according tothe principleof problem orientation andmaximizationofecological environmentbenefits，the ecologicalrestorationconceptandapproachof“building mountains and managing water，planting forests and adjusting farmland，controling polution and protecting lakes，and ecological restoration”are implemented in Beijiang River Basin，aiming atfurther improving theecological systemsecuritybarrier systemof theNanling Mountain Area innorthern Guangdong.The pilot project of ecological protectionand restorationof mountains，rivers，forests，fields，lakesand grass inthe Nanling Mountain Mountain area innorthern Guangdong Province （referred to as Guangdong Shaoguan Mountain-Water Project） has passed the provincial overallaceptance procedure and has enteredthelaterstageofmanagementand protection，buttherearestillproblemssuchasthelate stage managementand protection mechanismthat need to be improved.In the future，we should improve the technologyand institutional system of ecological protectionandrestorationprojectsformountains，waters，forests，fields，lakes，andgrassesfromtheaspectsof system construction and post management mechanisms，providing valuable experience for Chinato implement ecological protection and restoration.
