Abstract： With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization，global environmental polltion is becoming increasingly severe，posing a certain threat to the human living environment and ecosystem.Therefore，environmental polution preventionandcontrol managementisparticularly important，as itnotonlyconcerns humanhealthandwellbeing， but also isakeylink inachieving sustainable development.Therapid developmentand widespread aplicationof bigdata technology providenew avenues for environmental polution prevention and control management，bringing unprecedented opportunities.Atthesame time，how to extract valuable information from massivedata，how toefectively handleisues such as data securityand privacy protection，also bring newchallenges to environmental polution prevention and control management.Basedon this，it is necessary to analyze the significance of the application of bigdata in environmental polution preventionandcontrol management，proposespecificapplicationstrategies forbigdata inenvironmental pollution preventionandcontrol management，soas to effectively enhance the scientificityand efectiveness of environmental pollution prevention and control，and continuously improve the ecological environment.
