Abstract: To improve the effectiveness of foodborne pathogen detection in centers for disease control and prevention and enhance their capacity for foodborne disease preventionandcontrol, this article analyzes the specific challenges faced by these centers inconducting foodborne pathogen testing.The analysis indicates that insuficient professional expertise among testing staff,diffculties in balancing speed and accuracy in the selectionofdetection technologies,inadequate comprehensive maintenance of equipment,and suboptimal laboratory environmental controls directlycompromise the reliability of test results.Recommendations include enhancing personneltraining, facilitating targeted technological advancements in detection methods, establishing comprehensive equipment management mechanisms,and optimizing laboratory environmental control systems to address these challnges and better support centers for diseasecontroland prevention in fulfiling their food safety inspection responsibilities.
