Abstract: Objective: To explore the correlation between squalene content and rapeseed (Brassica napus L.)cultivars,so as to provide references for the breeding of rapeseed varieties,the nutritional evaluation of rapeseed oil and the traceability of its origin.Method:The basic physicochemical indicators and squalene content in the deodorizer distilltes of rapeseed oil from ten varieties were measured and comparatively analyzed,and cluster analysis was conducted.Result: The acid value of the deodorizer distillates of rapeseed oils from ten varieties ranges from (71.02±2.33)mg.g-1 to (124.20±3.27)mg.g-1 ,the saponification values generally high [from (109.84±3.12)mgcdotg-1 to (150.07±2.41)mg.g-1] ,the moisture and volatile matter content is generally low.The variety is extremely significantly negatively correlated with theacid value and peroxide value,and extremely significantly positively correlated with the squalene content. The results of cluster analysis show that the deodorization distilates ofrapeseed oil can be classified into three categories based on the squalene content.Conclusion:The content of squalene varies in the deodorization distilates of diffrent varieties of rapeseed oil.
