Abstract: This paper focuses on the characteristic food industry clusters in Pidu district, Chengdu (such as Pixian watercress and Sichuan cuisine industries),and takes artificial inteligence (AI) as the starting point to explore the path and mechanism of empowering the economic transformation of the food industry.In response to the problems of asingle testing subject,outdated standards,and low effciency in theregion,itis proposed to build a diversified supply system with“government guidance—market leadership—university collboration” centered on“AI+testing”and an intelligent testing quality control system covering“production—processing—circulation". Innovate the technology-driven service mode,realize the extension of testing technology from supervision to brand value-added,and helpupgrade the local specialty food industry.Byestablishing a three-dimensional linkage mechanismof“multi-partycolaboration,technology-driven,and service extension”,atechnical connectionsolution is provided for the integration of industry and education,promoting the transformation of the regional food industry towards a high-value-added intelligent economy.
