Abstract: This study employs response surface methodology to optimize the liquid fermentation medium for Pleurotus eryngi,aiming to enhance their biomass.Single-factor experiments were conducted toexplore the effects of nutrients,such as carbon sources, nitrogen sources,and inorganic salts,along with their addition on the growth of mycelium. Subsequently,response surface methodology was used to systematically optimize these nutrients. The results indicated that the optimal liquid fermentation medium consisted of 40.92g⋅L-1 wheat bran, 7.12g⋅L-1 soybean powder,and 1.55g⋅L-1MgSO4 .After6 daysof cultivation,the dry mass and the densityof Pleurotus eryngi were 2.47g and 8.5×104 per/L, representing increases of 217.67% and 347.37% compared to before optimization.
