Abstract: Heavy metals are prone to be enriched in Procambarus clarkii due to their living environment and habits.In this study,the contentof Cr,Cd,PbandAs in 50 local Procambarus clarkiisamples were determinedby Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS),and the level of heavy metal polution in their muscle tisue wasevaluated using the single polution index method.Furthermore,the dietary intakerisk of heavy metals was studied using the target hazard coeffcient method.The results showed that the size ofthe single pollution index of Procambarus clarkii was Cr>Cd>As>Pb.None of the single heavy metals at dietary intake risk of Cd, Cr, Pb and As exceeded the prescribed reference dose,and the risk of Cr and As ingestion were relatively high.After evaluation, the health risk caused byheavy metal intake through Procambarus clarkii was foundtobesmalland within an acceptable level.
