AbstractOpen education, as an important pillar of promoting a learning oriented society and building a learning orientedcountry,bears theresponsibilityofadvancing socialprogressand promoting comprehensive humandevelopment. As a professional platform that supports cross school collaboration, teaching discussions,and resource sharing among teachers,virtual teaching and research roomscan provide a solid guarante for improving the level ofopen education teaching and promoting the sustainable development of open education.Research has found that virtual teaching and research rooms haveachieved significant results inthecolaborative development of university teachingandresearch. However,in theapplication of open education,there are problems such as insufficient interdisciplinarycollaboration, insuficient depthofresourcesharing,lack ofcollaborative teaching,and imperfectevaluationsystems.Thearticle proposes countermeasures from the aspects of establishing interdisciplinary teaching and research communities, establishing collaborative development and sharing mechanisms for teaching resources,deepening teaching interaction andcollaboration,and establishing multidimensional evaluation systems,aiming toprovide practicalreferences forthe construction and development of virtual teaching and research rooms in open education.
