Application of Metacognitive Strategies in College English Listening Teaching

AbstractListening,asanability toreceive speech information,isacrucial skillininterpersonalcommunicationand animportantcomponentofcollge English teaching.Basedonthe framework of metacognitive theory,this article systematically explorestheapplication mechanisms ofthree strategies: planning,monitoring,andevaluation,incollege English listening teaching: by constructing a hierarchical goal system, personalized learning plans,and implementing planning strategies for tieredclassroom tasks; Relying onreal-time monitoring,dynamic adaptation,and bidirectional feedback to optimize monitoring strategies; Improve evaluation strategies through multidimensional evaluation systems,phased diagnosis,and reflection mechanisms.Research has confirmed that the application of metacognitive strategies can efectively enhance students'autonomous learning abilities,providing operational theoreticalsupportand practical paradigms for the reform of college English listening teaching.
