Reform Innovation and Practice of Practical Course Teaching in Music and Dance Majors

AbstractMusic and dance majors have strong practicality andapplicability，and require high practical abilities from students.Comprehensive training work needs tobe carriedoutboth inside and outside the classroom，as wellas on and offcampus，to balance theoreticaland practical teaching，inorder toefectively enhance students'performance ability innovation ability，and comprehensive literacy. However， the current practical teaching mode of music and dance majors has shown some drawbacks and is difficult to meet the training needs of compound artistic talents in the new era.Based on this，the article deeply explores the significanceof practical course teaching reform inmusic and dance majors，analyzes their teaching status，and proposes targeted inovative and practical strategies for practical course teachingreform，aiming to provide new theoretical basis and practical guidanceforthe construction of music and dance majors in universities.
