Abstract: During theoperationofurbansolid wasteincineration powerplants,alargeamountofleachatewillbegenerated posing a serious threat to the environment.Upward Anaerobic Sludge Bed (UASB)and Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) are typical representativesof landfilleachate treatment technology.Based onan actual leachate treatment project,a combinationof UASBand MBR proceses is used to treat leachate from garbage.The actual operational resultsshow that the combination of UASB and MBR processes can effectively reduce the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)and ammonia nitrogenconcentrationof leachate,and improve waterquality.Inviewof the problems of pipeline scaling andfoamin actual operation,specificoptimization schemes are proposed to improvethe eficiencyof leachate treatment,improve theoperating economyofthe system,and provideusefulreference foreficient treatmentof leachateindomestic waste incinerationpower plants.
