Abstract： This study focuses on theconstruction of a solid waste clasificationand recycling system inthe municipal environmentalgovernanceof Hezhoucity.Withthe helpof literature analysisandfieldresearch，itanalyzes thecurent situationof solid wastemanagement in Hezhoucity.Basedonthe HezhouCity Construction WastePollution Prevention and Control Work Plan （2O24—2O35），asolid wasteclasificationand recycling system thatis inline with the local actual situation will beconstructed，including keycontentssuchassourcereduction，classifiedcolectionand transportation， resource utilization，and regulatory mechanisms.Theresearch results indicate that this systemcan effectively improve the resource utilizationrateofsolid wastein Hezhou city，reduce environmental polution，and provide a reference example for environmental governance in similar cities.
