Abstract：Using theflotation concentrate obtained frompyriteflotationas raw material，iron balsare prepared by chlorinationroasting method.Higharsenicandsulfurremovalratescanbeachievedbyoxidizingandroasting pyriteflotation concentrate at 900 C for 2 h.After fine grinding，the proportion of particles with a particle size less than O.045 mm in the obtained roasted sand exceeds 85% . When the ratio of calcium chloride is 9% and the ratio of bentonite is 2% ， the physical and chemical properties of the iron balls prepared bychlorination volatilization at 1 250 C for 2h meet the relevant requirements of Iron Ball Orefor Blast Furnace （GB/T 27692—2O24），which are qualified products.
