Abstract: Inresponse toglobalclimatechangeandairpolution,peopleareconstantlypromoting andapplying photovoltaic power generation technology,and thedemandforraw materials continues to grow,the recycling and utilization of waste photovoltaic modulesare increasinglyreceiving atention.At present,silicon wafersand thin-film solar cels dominate the market and are keycategories for the recycling and reuse of waste photovoltaic modules.Withthe advancement of manufacturing technology fordiscarded photovoltaic modules andthe increasing useof new materials,the recycling targets andenvironmental polution characteristics areconstantlychanging,andrecycling technology is alsoconstantlydeveloping. The keymaterial characteristics of waste photovoltaic modulesand research progress on the main technological methods ofrecyclingaresummarized,andtheadvantages,disadvantages,andresearchdevelopmenttrendsofphysical,chemical, and heattreatment methods are compared and analyzed in the recyclingand environmental polution controlof waste photovoltaic modules.Research has shown that thefinalrecycling processhould beacombinationof various technological methodsoptimized to achieve the highest recycling eficiency.In summary,designing suitable recycling technology routes basedonthe types of photovoltaic module materials is the key to improving thelevel of resource utilization and environmental pollution prevention and control of waste photovoltaic modules.
