Abstract: Toaddressthe issueof heavy metal polution inenvironmental waterbodies,atomic absorptionmethodis used to detectheavy metals inenvironmental watersamples.This method faceschalenges inapplication,including complex matrix interference,samplepretreatmentdifculties,instrumentdetectionlimitsandacuracylimitations,aswellasdificulties insimultaneousdetectionof multiple elements.Finally,analyzetheapplication strategies of atomic absorption method in environmental watersampledetection,includingoptimizinginstrumentconditions,optimizingsample pretreatmentproess, optimizing instrument components and parameters, and combining technology with spectral processing.
