Abstract： Soil investigation ofcontaminated sites isa detailed testingandanalysis of the soil inthecontaminated site throughaseriesofscientificmethodsandtechnical means，inorder todeterminethe types，concentrations，anddistribution of polltants.Thispaper explores in detailthedesign principlesand methodsof soil sampling schemes for poluted sites， andanalyzes indepth thekeypointsofsoil sampling methodsandtechniques，includingtheselectionof appropriatesoil sampling tols，quality control measures during the sampling process，preservation and transportation techniques for soil samples，and precise positioning techniques forsampling points.Through case analysis，the efectivenessof these methods in practical applications is demonstrated.
