Abstract: Taking atypical glass enterprise plotin the Greater Bay Area astheresearch object,the environmental quality and human health risksof cobalt in soil are evaluated basedonthe screening value standardsofthe firsttype of land use.Theresults show that thecobalt content in the soil ofthe studyarea has exceeded the screening valuefor the first typeof land,with higher cobalt content in areas such as production areas,raw material storage areas,andraw material transportationroutes,itisspeculatedthatthisisrelated toimproper managementofrawmaterial stacking,transportation, and use duringthe production processTheriskassessment further indicatesthat cobalt inthe soil poses health risks to potential exposed populations.Therefore,based onthe planned use,control or repair target values are determined,and control orrepair measuresaretaken toensurethatthe healthrisks ofthe futureusers ofthe plotare atanacceptable level. Athesame time,forthegassproductionindustry,itisecessry tofocusonstrengthening pollutionpreventionandcotrol management during the stacking, transportation,and use of raw materials.
