Abstract: Inorder tounderstand the pollution situation of arsenic,cadmium,andlead indrinking water in Tongxiang cityin 2024and assess their health risks,inductivelycoupled plasma-massspectrometry isused todetectthe massconcentrations of three heavy metals inTongxiang city’sdrinking waterin 2O24,and the health risk modelrecommendedbythe US Environmental Protection Agency is used to evaluatethehealth risksof exposure throughdrinking waterroutes.The results show that the qualified rate of three heavy metals in the drinking water of Tongxiang city is 100% . In different water samples, the carcinogenic risk values of arsenic are between 10-6 and 10-4 , indicating a certain degree of carcinogenic risk,and the noncarcinogenic risk of arsenic is lessthan 1.Therisk ranking forboth carcinogenicand non-carcinogenic risks was identicalacrossthediferent watersamples,inthedescending orderof: terminal waterinthe pipeline network,secondary watersupply,and finished water.Inthedrinking waterof Tongxiang city,threeheavy metalsshownopollution level,and arsenic is the main pollutant with health risks,which should be given special attention.
