Abstract：Inordertoeffctivelysolvetheproblemofairpolltion inenvironmentalengineering，improveairqualitythis paper analyzes the characteristics and hazardsof air pollution，and identifythe main reasons for exacerbating pollution. Analysissugests thatthe mainfactors areanunreasonable energystructure，extensive industrialdevelopment models，oor urbanplanning，and insufficient publicawarenessof environmentalprotection.Inresponse totheexisting problems，it is recommended to increase thedevelopmentandutilizationofclean energy，strictlycontrol industrial polution，strengthen urban greening construction， and enhance public environmental awareness and participation.
