Abstract：Polltion source traceabilitymonitoringdata isacore element of environmental management.Itisprofoundly changing theoperational modeand work eficiencyof ecological environment monitoring.The technical system of pollution sourcetracing and monitoring issystematically explored，andthe specificapplications of these technologies arediscussed in ecological environment monitoring.Byanalyzing the innovative modelof“data-driven，three monitoring linkage”and combinig practical cases such as precise law enforcement，emergency response，and watershed governance，the key value of traceabilitymonitoring technologyisdemonstrated inimprovingmonitoringeficiency，accuratelyidentifyingpollution sources，and promoting moderizationof environmental governance.Atthe same time，the mainchalenges faced bycurrent applicationsaresummarized，andthe corrsponding countermeasures are proposed，thus providing reference forbuilding a more scientific，accurate and efficient ecological environment monitoring system.
