Rapid Determination of Sulfonylurea and Amide Herbicides Residuesin Riceby UPLC-MS/MS

Abstract: Objective: To develop a rapid method for the simultaneous determination of 49 sulfonylurea and amide herbicides residues in rice byoptimizing the QuEChERS method combined with Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (UPLC-MS-MS). Method: The sample was extracted by acidified ACN, purified by modified QuEChERS method and simultaneously determined by UPLC-MS-MS equipped with electric spray ion source.The matrix curve was quantified by extermal standard method.Result: The linear relationship of 49 herbicides was good within the range of 1ng⋅mL-1 to 100ng⋅mL-1 ,with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.993 5 to 0.999 9, a limit of detection of 0.003μg⋅kg-1 to 0.160μg⋅kg-1 ,a limit of quantification of 0.010μg⋅kg-1 to 0.540μg⋅kg-1 , an average recovery rate of 62.7% to 109.1% ,and a relative standard deviation of 0.6% to 9.9% Conclusion: This method issensitive,accurate,and stable,and can meet the detection requirements for 49 types of sulfonylurea and amide herbicides residuesin rice.
