AbstractInthecultivation systemof primaryschoolstudents'mathematicalcore literacy,estimationability,asan important component of computational and problem-solving abilities,plays a crucial role in the development of students'numerical sense and the formationof their mathematical applicationawarenessThis studytakes thefourth grade math textbook "multiplication of thre-digit numbers by two-digit numbers"in the People's Education Press as an example,focusing on the cultivation of estimation ability in multiplication operations.By analyzing the value of estimation ability incore mathematical literacy,a teachingstrategy basedon context driven,method construction, thinking visualization,and hierarchical traning is proposed,providing theoreticalreference for primaryschoolmath estimation teaching.
