Research on Teaching Reform of Interdisciplinary Curriculum under the Concept of Integration of Science and Education

Taking the course Reliability-based Design Method of Coastal Concrete Structure as an example

(College of Civiland Transportation Engineering,Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, Guangdong ) AbstractThe article comprehensively analyzes the current teaching status of the interdisciplinary course on the reliability design method ofcoastal concrete structures in civil engineering. Based on the coastalservice environment in the Greater Bay Area,improve and optimize course content,and serve the design of coastal concrete structures; By introducing practical engineering cases,integrating scientific research achievements,clarifying scientific research needs,and implementing diversified teaching methods,a four-dimensionalintegrated teaching methodof"engineering traction,science andeducation integration,literacy empowerment,anddiversifiedcolaboration"hasbeen formed.This notonlyimproves theteachingeffctiveness ofthecourse,butalsoenhancesstudents'academic literacyandinovation ability.This teaching reform research provides new ideas and practical paths for further reform and innovation of graduate courses in civil engineering.
