AbstractHigh quality development has become the core concept and topic of higher education development in the contextof the new era.JiangsuProvince，asaleader in thefieldofhighervocationaleducationin China，has maintained a leading position in promotingthe transformation ofhigher vocational education towards high-qualitydevelopment through its sustainedresilienceand outstanding achievements.Thisarticle provides an in-depthanalysis oftheevolution of modern vocational education in Jiangsu Province from its inception to the present day. It systematically summarizes the key elements andsignificant achievementsof itssuccess，includingbut not limited topolicysupport，educational philosophy，and integrationofindustryand education. Onthis basis，further exploration was conductedonthe advanced experience and models of vocational education in Jiangsu Province，and their inspiration and reference value for other provinces in China，aiming to provide valuable practical casesand theoretical support for promotingthecomprehensive progress and prosperous development of modern vocational education in China.
