Structural Design of UAV Thin Composite Wing with High Aspect Ratio

Abstract:A composite wing with smallthicknessand high-bearing beam is designed to meet the requirements of the highaspect ratio thincomposite wingofa high speed UAV.Its strength was checkedand ballst was tested,and the rigid strength provedtobe satisfied,butthe weight failed.To met the weight index asrequired,thetopology optimization design of the wing was made.By variable density method,topological structure was obtained and redesigned,and its strengthcheck andballast test werecarriedout.Compared withtheoriginal structure,the weightof the topological structure was reduced by 29% ,with great improvement in stiffness. The optimized structure meets the requirements as designed.
