Abstract:As therotor is stably levitatedbyactive magnetic bearings and closed-loop fedback control inthe magnetic levitation blower systems,theaccurate rotor modelis esentialin the design of controller.Regarding the discrepancy betweenthetheoreticalandexperimentaldynamiccharacteristicduetotheshrink一fitassemblyofrotor,themodel updating methodwith theobjectivefunctionof thediscrepanciesbetween theoreticaland experimental bending mode frequencies and modal assrance criterion is emplyed.Inorder to minimize the modeling eror,theequivalent Young's modulusanddensityofshrink—fited laminationareiterativelyoptimized basedonthe particle swarmoptimization.The simulationanalysis resultsvalidated by modal test show thatthe modified model in modal prediction is improved,with therelative error of the first three bending modesless than 5% and the modal assurance criterions more than 0.9.
