Research on the Application of Scenario Simulation Combined with Narrative Medicine in Oncology Clinical Teaching

(Department of Oncology, Afiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University, Guiyang, Guizhou ) AbstractObjective: To explore the application effect of scenario simulation combined with narative medicine in clinicalteachingofoncology.Method:84clinicalinternmedicalstudentsadmitedtoacertainafiliatedcancerhospital ofa medical university from September 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects.According to the intemship batch, students were randomly divided into a research group (42 people) and a control group(42 people). The control group adopted the traditional oncology clinical internship teaching mode, while the research group added scenario simulation combined with narrative medicine teaching content onthe basis of traditional teaching.Result:The empathy ability score, total score of doctor-patient communication skils, theoretical exam scores,and teaching satisfaction of medical students in the research group were significantly higher than those in the control group. Conclusion: The application ofscenario simulation combined with narrative medicine in clinical oncology teaching can effectively enhance medical students' empathy ability, doctor-patient communication skils,and mastery ofoncology theoretical knowledge.It has important value in improving the quality ofoncology medical education and cultivating medical students' humanistic literacy.
