Abstract:Withthedeepeningadvancementofthe"TransportationPowerStrategy",digitalandintellgenttransformationhas becomethecoredevelopmentdirectionofthefuturetransportationindustry,placinghigherdemandsontheinterdisciplinary integrationandinnovationcapabilitiesofstudentsmajoringininteligentconstruction.Traditionalcoursesoftensufferfroma disconectionbetween teachingcontentandindustryaplications,aswellasstudents'weakengineringpracticeandsystemsthinkingabilities.Toadresstheseproblems,thisstudycarredoutateachingreformcenteredonProject-BasedLeaming(PBL) inthecoursePrinciplesof SensorandInternetofThings Technology.Typicalaplicationscenariosof"smartconstructionand maintenance"intransportationifrastructureareusedasproject-drivencontenttosystematicallreconstructanintegratedteaching systemencompassing"perception-transmisson-decision-application".Atrinityteachingpracticemodelof"simulationexperimentation-realvehicle"isalsoinovativelydesigned.TwoyearsofteachingpracticeattheSchoolofSmartCityand TransporationouthestJaotongUiversityaveemostratedatisodelectivelyiulatesdentsintrisicoiati andsignificantlyenhancestheirtechnicalintegrationandapplicationskill,teamworkabilitiesandcapacitytosolvecomplex engineeringproblems.Thestudygreatlyimprovesthealignmentbetweencourseobjectivesandindustrytalentdemands,providing anefectiveparadigmandvaluablereferencefortheconstructionandreformofdeplyintegratedinterdisciplinarycoursesinthe context of emerging engineering education.
