Abstract：ThecourseofLegalResearchdoesnotonlyequiplegalprofessionalswithacoreskillbutalsolargelyimprove thetrainingofforeign-relatedlegaltalentsinChina.However，nowadayslawscholsdonotgiveenoughatentiontotheLegal Researchcourse.Theexistingcoursesarenotcomprehensiveeither，lackingsuficient teachingandtrainingaboutmethodsand skillsof usingmajorEnglishlegaldatabases.Alsostudentshaveexpressedtheirurgentneedforsuchcourses toimprovetheir skillofegalResearch.FirstlythispaperpointsouttheimportanceandnecesityoftheLegalResearchcourseinultivating foreign-relatedlegaltalents.Secondly，byconductingempiricalresearch，thestudyhascollctedandanalyzed26lawshools curriculums，anddistributedquestionnairestoobtaindataaboutrespondents’atitudeanddemandtowardtheLegalResearch course.Then，thepaperidentifiesproblemsanddficienciesinlawschols‘courseseting.Atlast，thestudyprovidessolutionsto improvethesetingofLegalResearchcoursebyproperlydesigningcuiculums，enrichingandstrengtheninglawscholsfaculty members，forming intermaland externalcollaborative mechanisms，andimproving thequalityandquantityof textbooks.
