Abstract: Metrologicalcomparison is an effective way to supervise laboratory measurement capabilities.Optometry lenses are commonly used measuring instruments in the inspection work of ophthalmology departments in various hospitals,eyeglass fiting enterprises,and metrology technical institutions.Among them,those used for medical and health purposes are mandatory calibration measuring instruments.The accuracy of metrological performance is directly related tothequalityof eyeglassftingandiscloselyrelatedto the physical and mental healthofthemajority ofeyeglass consumers,therefore itisnecessry to ensure the accuracyof measurement values.In order toobjectively, fairly,and scientifically reflect the current status of the calibration/verification of reference laboratoryoptometry lenses,as wellas the accuracy of the calibration personnel’s useof standard equipment and the correctness of their operational skils,itisnecessarytoevaluateand improve the technicallevelofthecalibrationpersonnel,understand the equipment status and actual measurement capabilities of each laboratory,and ensure the unity,accuracy,and reliabilityofthecalibration/verificationresults.This articleelaborates onthe implementationandresult analysis of the comparison of the indication error ofthe top power of optometry lenses,reflecting the significance ofcomparison and demonstrating the level of the reference laboratory.
