Abstract：Bycomparing the standardsamendment management policies athome and abroad，this paper considers the challenges of standardsamendment management systemin China under the new situation，and provides some preliminary suggestions for standards amendment management system in China. It systematically introduces the relevant standards amendment management policies between China and ISO/IEC，and conducts comparative analysis. Both China and ISO/IEChave the same managementthinking，whereas therearediferences inthescopeofapplication andorientation.Bylearning fromtheadvanced management experienceofISO/IEC，itwillhelpinnovatethestandards amendment management mechanism，improve the standards amendment management system，improve the degree of consistency with international standards，accelerate standards update，and promote industrialdevelopment.
