【Abstract】The brake system converts the huge kinetic energy in vehicledriving into heat energy through friction, which is the most importantdevice to ensure driving safety.According to the basic laws of physics,energy cannot be created ordestroyed,itcanonlychange formor transfer,when the vehicle needs to slowdown,the brake system takes onthetask ofconvertingthisenergyform,absorbinganddisipatingthe kineticenergyof the vehicle,converting itinto heatenergyand releasing it tothesurrounding environment. However,theresultinglargeamountof heat can causebrake components to increase dramatically in temperature.Therefore,this paper willexplorehow heat generation and transfer interactandsynergisticalywiththefrictiongeneration mechanisminthe"kinetic-thermal"conversionofbraking process, in order to find a direction for designinga more stable and efcient brake system.
