【Abstract】To improve the design effciency and accuracy of automotive transmission gears,based on the CATIA platform,this paper proposes a parametric modeling method for gear components.This method drives the programmed generation of involute toth profiles and helices by defining key design parameters such as module,numberof teeth, pressure Angle,andhelix Angle,thereby automaticallyconstructing the three-dimensional solid model of gears.The verificationresultsshowthatthis methodcansignificantlyimprove thedesigneficiency,facilitateseriesdesignandrapid modification,and contribute to the digital development of the transmission.
