Abstract：Thecurentinstructionalapproach toSteel StructureDesigncourseischaracterizedbyapredominanceof theoreticalinstruction，alackofdiverseteachingmethods，andadisconnectionfrompracticalengineringapplications.These isueshinderthealignmentwiththecontemporarydemandsofinformation-basedteaching，makingimprovementsinpedagogy urgentandnecessaryTispaperproposesastrategyforenhancingStelStructureDesigncourseinstructionbyintegratingdigital resourceswithcase-basedteaching.Thestrategyencompasesthreemaincomponents：elementsofpre-classinstructionaldesign， specificimplementationplansforcoursedelivery，andacomprehensiveasssmentandevaluationsystemforthecourse.The objectiveofthisstrategyistoelevatethequalityofinstructioninSteeStructureDesigncourse，fosterstudents‘inovative thinkingandpracticalskills，andbeterequipthemtomeettheneedsofthemodernsteelstructureengineerigfield. Additionally，thestudyaimstoprovidevaluableinsightsandreferencesfortheteachingofstelstructuredesigncoursesin related disciplines.
