Abstract:Thecurentinstructionalapproach toSteel StructureDesigncourseischaracterizedbyapredominanceof theoreticalinstruction,alackofdiverseteachingmethods,andadisconnectionfrompracticalengineringapplications.These isueshinderthealignmentwiththecontemporarydemandsofinformation-basedteaching,makingimprovementsinpedagogy urgentandnecessaryTispaperproposesastrategyforenhancingStelStructureDesigncourseinstructionbyintegratingdigital resourceswithcase-basedteaching.Thestrategyencompasesthreemaincomponents:elementsofpre-classinstructionaldesign, specificimplementationplansforcoursedelivery,andacomprehensiveasssmentandevaluationsystemforthecourse.The objectiveofthisstrategyistoelevatethequalityofinstructioninSteeStructureDesigncourse,fosterstudents‘inovative thinkingandpracticalskills,andbeterequipthemtomeettheneedsofthemodernsteelstructureengineerigfield. Additionally,thestudyaimstoprovidevaluableinsightsandreferencesfortheteachingofstelstructuredesigncoursesin related disciplines.
