[Abstract] On the basis ofsummarizing traditional sports culture，this article analyzes thecurrent development status oftraditional sportsculture in Chinaand points out that there are prominent problems such as inheritance gap，laging dissemination methodsand content，low industrialization level and weak market competitiveness，and insufficient international disseminationcapabilities.In response totheexisting problems，thisarticle proposes an inovative development path for traditional sports culture in China under the background of the new era： it innovates the inheritance mode of sports cultureand consolidates the foundationof inheritance; it innovates communication channels and content to enhance cultural influence; it promotes the integration of sports related industries and enhances market competitivenes;it strengthens international exchangesand cooperation，and enhances international communication capabilities; it improves the policy guarantee system and optimizes the development environment.
