Current Status and Future Trend Analysis of Frequency Usage for International Radionavigation-Satellite Systems (Space-to-Earth)

Abstract:As a core infrastructure of the modern information society,the Radionavigation-Satelite Service (RNSS)relies criticallyon its frequency planningand technological evolution for the global Positioning,Navigation, and Timing (PNT) system.This paper systematically sorts out the current status of RNSS (Space-to-earth) frequency usage rules,conducts a detailed analysis of the space segmentcompositionand downlink frequencycharacteristicsof internationalradionavigation-satelitesystems suchas theGlobal Positioning System (GPS),Galileo,and GLONASS, and reveals the overlapping usage mechanism of core frequency bands like the L-Band and the advantages of compatibility design.This paper can provide references for the frequency usage designand technological innovationof global navigation systems.
