Abstract： With the continuous development of computer and information technology in recent years，artificial intelligence （AI） technology has emerged as an important driving force for the digital transformation of the economyand society.Asanimportantcomponentofthenational strategy，theruralrevitalizationstrategybears the responsibilityof building rural infrastructure and optimizing rural industrial structure，and its digital transformation process naturaly needs to be put on the agenda.However，due to the signifcant gap between urban and rural areas in China，therearesignificant shortcomings ininformationacquisition，technologyapplication，and digitalliteracy inrural areas，which makes itdiffcult forthe digitalcompetenceofruralrevitalization talents to match actual needs and to someextent hinders the promotion ofruralrevitalization strategies.Basedon this，this article will start with the concept and theoretical framework of digital competence，clarify the practical significance of empowering rural revitalization talents with digital competence through artificial intelligence，analyze theproblems encountered in the processof developing rural revitalization digital competence，and propose corresponding optimization solutions， aiming to propose a set of library construction plans that are suitable for rural needs，and provide reference for cultivating rural revitalization talents' digital competence.
