Abstract： Food packaging safety is an important link in ensuring food safety and consumer health，and physical detection technologyprovides keysupport for it.This article focuses on metal，plastic，paper and other mainstream food packaging types，systematically analyzes the application of physical detection technology in the testing of sealing，pressreresistance，barrier，strengthperformance，tc.，clarifies thecoresaety indicatorsand testingmethods of various packaging， explores the relationship between test results and food shelflife and polution risks，and reveals the potential hazards of physical performance defects to food safety，and provides technical reference for improving the safety control level of food packaging.
