Abstract: Directly ingested fruits and vegetables have a high risk of disease caused by microbial and pesticide residue contamination due to the lack of subsequent heating treatment.This paper compares and analyzes the effects of washing with water,fruit and vegetable washing machine,and fruit and vegetable cleaning agent on the sterilization effect and pesticide residue removal effect of letuce.The results showed that the total number of colonies,coliform group,and pesticide residues after washing with fruit and vegetable cleaning agent and fruit and vegetable washing machine were allqualified,andthe fruit and vegetable cleaning agent hadthe best efect;the total number ofcolonies andcoliform group results of the water washing group were qualifed,but the pesticide residue results were unqualified.The results of this studycan provideareference for the selection ofwashing and sterilization methods for directly ingested fruits and vegetables in daily life.
